Katrina’s Hidden Race War

Katrina’s Hidden Race War is a short video I edited for The Nation Institute about vigilante violence in New Orleans during the days after hurricane Katrina. Thanks to my editing mentor Laura Hanna I was given the chance to edit a high-profile news story with very little experience. This story also had special resonance for me since I’ve lived in New Orleans and saw first-hand the type of social and racial tensions the story describes.
