My first short film, Circa ’78, is about a man who has isolated himself from the world by building a perfect replica of the past. This was my first relatively large-scale production and it instilled in me a respect for those who manage to pull off the feat of producing a film and making something worthwhile. I’ll leave to others to judge whether what I’ve made is worthwhile but I learned a lot and if nothing else I finally fulfilled a desire I’ve had for a long time. The finished film is being submitted to festivals and in one form or another will be available soon.
